You may be wrong!!

One of my friends ran away from the hospital right before his Tonsillectomy Procedure  (the surgical procedure to remove the tonsils) “YES HE DID“, he called the hospital after 2 days to seek for the security deposit and the call centre transferred the phone to the senior manager.

My friend said: “Doctor, I am Mac, I was admitted for Tonsillectomy 2 days back”. Manager shouted at him as hard as he could “WHY DID YOU RAN AWAY? the Operation Theater was ready and the doctor was there and you just disappeared. There is no question about the REFUND for you“. Mac said, “why you don’t accept the mistake of your hospital too“.

What mistake?” Manager shouted. “Ask your nurse she was saying don’t be nervous, it’s a small operation“. The manager said “Yes, what is the problem in that she was just calming you down, telling you that its a small operation and you should be fine

Mac said calmly “BUT she was telling this to the Doctor, I got scared and ran away“. The manager replied with an embarrassed tone, “you can collect your deposit anytime“.

How many times have you made an assumption that you are correct.

Let me tell you another short story:

Calm down Jennifer, CALM DOWN” a woman shouting with a small child. All the people were looking at this woman as if she is committing a heinous crime. One guy stood up and said “She is just a little girl!! Why are you shouting at her?“. The lady looked at the man and said: “I am Jennifer and I am shouting at myself, not on my baby“.

Sometimes what you hear & feel is not quite correct, your judgement may not be right all the time. YOU CANNOT BE RIGHT ALL THE TIME. What can you do about this? There is no simple answer to this, I believe you need to self assess yourself, introspect, and think out of the box. These terms may sound very simple but if you deep dive in, these could be very powerful tools could be a life changer.

The day you learn to accept that you can be wrong or you are wrong, your life would take a 180-degree turn and would embark a journey of life-changing events.
